CSIO Welcomes Symcor as Latest Software Vendor Member

(Toronto – November 20, 2017) The Centre for Study of Insurance Operations (CSIO) is pleased to announce the addition of Symcor as a vendor member. Symcor, founded in 1996, offers a suite of software and business process services to support the P&C industry. Their software suite includes services to support the entire insurance value chain.

“At Symcor, we are committed to enabling insurers to execute their digital transformation and product innovation initiatives across the insurance value chain, and we recognize that adopting data standards is crucial to successfully implementing such initiatives,” states Geoff Bonn, VP, Insurance Services, Symcor. “That is primarily why we became a member of CSIO and we’re motivated to start integrating CSIO standards into our solutions to help our clients achieve their goals and stay competitive in this rapidly evolving marketplace.”

With membership, Symcor can now utilize CSIO data standards, industry forms and CSIOnet, enhancing the efficiencies of its technology solutions for its business partners and customers alike.

“It is exciting to enhance our growing membership base with another software vendor member,” states Catherine Smola, President & CEO of CSIO. “Symcor has a commitment to reducing cost and risk for its business partners while enhancing speed to market, customer experience, and service quality and these are also benefits of leveraging standards, so I’m sure they will find CSIO membership beneficial.”
