Acturis Canada Inc. Earns CSIO’s API Security Standards Certification and a Gold Standards Certification Rating
|
(Toronto – January 26, 2026) CSIO congratulates Acturis Canada Inc. (Acturis) on achieving CSIO’s API Security Standards Certification for their Acturis Broker Management System (BMS). In addition, Acturis has successfully earned a Gold CSIO Standards Certification Rating.
By adopting the API Security Standards and obtaining Certification, Acturis has demonstrated their ability to provide enhanced security measures for brokers’ API transactions within their BMS. This involves using a standard authentication and authorization model when brokers access API endpoints and offering additional protection for data exchanged between Acturis’ BMS and an insurer’s system.
Prior to their API Security Certification, Acturis was also awarded CSIO’s eDocs Certification by programming the updated eDocs codes and descriptions, supporting the delivery of clearly-labelled eDocs to brokers. These accomplishments have improved Acturis’ Standards Certification Rating to Gold, a testament to their commitment to CSIO Standards and greater connectivity for the P&C insurance industry.
“Earning API Security Certification is a meaningful achievement for Acturis and reinforces our position as a trusted partner that prioritizes data security across every aspect of Broker, MGA and Carrier operations,” said Gregory Toothe, Managing Director of Acturis Canada Inc. “We are equally pleased to receive a Gold Standards Certification Rating and will continue leveraging CSIO Data Standards to drive efficiency and deliver an optimal insurance experience for our customers.”
“As a Gold-Rated CSIO member, Acturis deserves recognition for advancing the broker channel by utilizing modern industry Standards and leading-edge technology,” said Kathryn Sinclair, President & CEO of CSIO. “Acturis’ commitment to CSIO’s API Security Standards enhances data confidentiality and sets a strong example for creating a more resilient and digitally forward industry.”
