Trillium Mutual Insurance Company Obtains CSIO Certification for Personal Lines eDocs

|

(Toronto – July 27, 2016) The Centre for Study of Insurance Operations (CSIO) is pleased to announce that Trillium Mutual Insurance Company has obtained CSIO Certification for Personal Lines eDocs.

“We are very pleased to take this next step at improving our technology options for our brokers. As more companies offer eDocs, the brokers’ processes and workflows change, so it is important for us as a company to be able to support and contribute to our brokers’ efficiencies,” says Tracy MacDonald, Vice President of Corporate Services, Trillium Mutual Insurance Company. “Trillium Mutual has also recently broadened our eDocs options to include Farm and Commercial policy documents. This will assist our broker partners in expanding their operational efficiencies in these lines of business as well.”

When eDocs are used to their full potential, sending, receiving, sorting, scanning and destroying paper is no longer necessary, saving the industry significant amounts of time and money.

“It is encouraging to see more mutual companies obtaining CSIO Certification for eDocs because it demonstrates a commitment to efficient customer service,” says Normand Lafrenière, President, Canadian Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (CAMIC). “I congratulate Trillium on this achievement and I look forward to seeing more mutuals obtain this important certification.”

CSIO Certification is available to member insurance companies and vendors. Visit csio.com/csio-certification to learn more about the CSIO Certification program.

Brokers can use the eDocs Savings Calculator to determine their daily, monthly and yearly savings in time and money from adopting eDocs. Visit csio.com/edocs-savings-calculator to learn more.
