Logiciels Deltek Inc. Goes Live with Web Services

|

(Montreal – April 12, 2017) The Centre for Study of Insurance Operations (CSIO) is pleased to announce that Logiciels Deltek Inc. is the first broker management system (BMS) provider to go live with web services for broker interface with CSIOnet.

“The brokers I’ve worked with so far on this transition to web services for CSIOnet have all commented that they’re getting faster downloads,” states David Larkin, President of Logiciels Deltek Inc. “Using web services has allowed us to simplify data workflow within our product. So, I’m thrilled to have made this transition, as it has resulted in improved service to my broker clients.”

CSIOnet – the industry network for connectivity and data exchange between carriers and brokers in the P&C insurance industry – serves over 2,000 brokerages and insurers across Canada. Recent enhancements enable members to move from legacy protocols to modern web services connectivity, resulting in improved standardization and interoperability with other systems within their organization.

“The benefits for CSIO members of transitioning to web services are clear, simplifying how they connect to CSIOnet while improving security,” says Hans Gantzkow, Chief Architect, CSIO. “Web services also allows for easier integration with software provider solutions, including mobile platforms. We are excited to support the broker channel in developing innovative and cutting-edge customer service solutions by providing this modern, cutting-edge connectivity protocol.”

Carrier and software provider members of CSIO are encouraged to make this transition to web services for their CSIOnet connections as soon as possible. Email Hans Gantzkow hgantzkow@csio.com for additional information on this transition.
