eDelivery Solution Enters Testing Phase
|
The CSIO eDelivery solution is progressing rapidly and remains on track for release to members in early 2018. As part of that process, an initial build has been made available to CSIO staff for preliminary assessment, with broker and carrier members of the project team set to participate in testing later this month.
“We are very excited to enter the testing phase of the solution. It takes us one step closer to making simple, standardized digital delivery of policy documents to consumers a reality for CSIO members across Canada.”
- Ahmer Gulzar, Senior Manager, Technology Strategy & Architecture at CSIO
Features of the eDelivery solution include:
- All policy documents, including proof of auto insurance (eSlips), for personal and commercial lines
- Delivers policy documents by secure email – no apps, portals or log-ins
- Reporting dashboards
- Available to members at no additional cost
At the same time, CSIO continues to conduct walkthroughs of the solution with member carriers and broker associations, as well as federal and provincial regulatory bodies. Industry response has been overwhelmingly positive, demonstrating widespread recognition of the value modern consumers place on digital service.
