CSIO’s Digital Document Solution a Win-Win for Brokers and Consumers

On October 10, Insurance Business published an article about broker adoption of technology in Canada. The article featured quotes from Catherine Smola, President & CEO of CSIO about the organization's forthcoming digital document delivery & eSlips solution:

"To complement eDocs, CSIO is in the process of developing an industry-wide solution to deliver digital policy documents to consumers, including proof of auto insurance (eSlips). Developed in collaboration with member carriers and brokers, the solution will be made available to CSIO members at no additional charge.

"Rather than develop an insurance app – which only 4% of Canadians choose to download – the CSIO solution uses email and secure mobile digital wallet technology common to Apple and Android smartphones.
