CSIO adds Senior Manager, Technology Strategy and Architecture to its Toronto team

(Toronto – August 16, 2017) The Centre for Study of Insurance Operations (CSIO) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ahmer Gulzar to the position of Senior Manager, Technology Strategy and Architecture in the Toronto office.
Ahmer’s role at CSIO is to plan, direct and manage all CSIO standards releases and lead the development and implementation of high-impact strategies, technologies and digital solutions for CSIO members across Canada.
Ahmer brings significant expertise in IT from the telecommunications industry, working at Bell Canada before joining SaskTel in 2012. He most recently held the position of Senior Manager, Business Architecture and Analysis at SaskTel, managing a team of 15 employees who were accountable for defining business capabilities, developing end-to-end business processes and eliciting requirements for corporate initiatives.
Ahmer holds a Bachelors of Engineering degree from Carleton University and an Executive MBA from the University of Ottawa. In addition, he is a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) and PMP-certified professional. He is bilingual in English and French.
