BC Broker Supports CSIO Digital Document Delivery Solution

A recent article (“Keeping It Real Time”) in BC Broker magazine that explores emerging technology in the broker channel cites CSIO’s industry-wide digital document delivery solution as one example to monitor. The solution will enable members to send insureds any digital policy document for personal or commercial lines – even proof of auto insurance (eSlips):

“…a study from MasterCard, released in March 2017, shows digital wallets are “on fire.” Facilities such as digital proof of insurance and extended [CSIO] eDocs applications fall in line with this accelerating trend. CSIO … announced the development of … an industry-wide solution to deliver digital [documents and] proof of auto insurance to consumers, in collaboration with its broker and carrier members.

“Regulators are in the process of modernizing their legislation to allow for use of the eSlip, and the technology is being adopted by insurers.”
