y documents and eSlips to consumers digitally.

During our discussions, we received feedback from brokers on setting up the eDelivery solution, and how their customers are using My Proof of Insurance. We were pleased to hear that the experience has been overwhelmingly positive. Over and over, we heard that the solution is easy to use, innovative and helps strengthen the broker-customer relationship by improving and modernizing workflow efficiencies.

eDelivery: Easy to use, convenient and innovative

Brokers told us that a large part of why they adopted the My Proof of Insurance eDelivery solution is how easy and convenient it was for them to learn about the solution and to implement it quickly for their customers. Brokers also mentioned that the educational resources available to them made adopting the solution barrier-free. Some of these resources included:

  • The general walkthrough webinars which focused on how to begin using the solution
  • Vendor integration webinars which demonstrated how brokers can send digital policy documents from My Proof of Insurance directly from their BMS
  • Vendor-produced user guides on ensuring a quick and easy setup and;
  • The consumer facing My Proof of Insurance website

“We heard from the news that digital slips for insurance was coming, and we were impressed with how quickly CSIO was able to launch their My Proof of Insurance eDelivery solution. Being a small brokerage, we really value the opportunity to introduce a new service or tool for our customers. We also found the webinars really valuable; they easily demonstrated the step-by-step instructions on how to use the solution so we were up and running with eSlips in no time.”

– Farah Hameed, Chief Operating Officer, Sterling Insurance Brokers, Ontario

Brokers also noted how the solution helps to modernize the P&C insurance industry, giving customers a seamless, digital experience when receiving their policy documents and presenting their eSlip. Luc Gamache of Assurances Jean Gamache Inc. in Quebec told us the eSlips option was overwhelmingly embraced by their customers, with 75% of them agreeing to accept electronic copies.

We were particularly excited about the My Proof of Insurance eDelivery solution. We know our customers have been eager to see something like this be available to them, so when they [CSIO] launched the solution, we sent out our own marketing campaign advising our customers. The engagement from our customers with the solution so far has been great; eDelivery really helped us in upgrading the level of service we can provide.
