Switching Your Customers to Paperless

As we continue to practice social distancing for the foreseeable future, brokers should talk to clients about moving to paperless options. Going paperless provides several important benefits such as saving time and money and helps to avoid having multiple people handling a document.

Tips on starting the paperless conversation with your clients:

  1. Start with asking your customers to provide their email address, and to confirm the accuracy of the contact information in their customer profile. Having client email addresses will help you maintain regular, meaningful touchpoints when you can’t see them face-to-face.
  2. Talk to clients about switching to electronic policy documents to ensure they receive their important insurance documents quickly and safely.
