He engages members on technology strategies, including tactical implementation of standards-based solutions. Additionally, Brian develops innovative digital solutions designed to enhance the consumer’s ease of doing business in the P&C insurance industry.
Brian has over 20 years in the technology and insurance space and is a longtime advocate of CSIO standards and initiatives. Some of Brian’s notable achievements include:
- Successful build of the first Canadian industry services accelerator for broker/carrier real-time integrations by leading a team of 4 insurance insurers, 3 Broker systems, 2 insurance associations (CSIO, IBAC), and the Guidewire product group in Ireland.
- Building Digital technology platform and integration strategies supporting financial services and migrations to Cloud and SaaS platforms.
- Leading API strategies for P&C initiatives.
Brian holds his Bachelor of Science Degree from Brock University, Systems Engineer Designation, and is an Agile Scrum Master.
