CSIO Announces the Appointment of Kathryn Sinclair as President & CEO

(Toronto – November 3, 2025) CSIO is pleased to announce that Kathryn Sinclair has been appointed President & Chief Executive Officer of CSIO, effective November 1, 2025. In her new role, Ms. Sinclair will lead CSIO’s strategic advancement of Data Standards and connectivity for the property & casualty insurance industry.

Prior to her appointment, Ms. Sinclair assumed the role of CSIO’s Interim President in February 2025. She first joined CSIO in 2020 as Vice President of Strategy & Operations, where she oversaw process improvements within the P&C broker channel and worked with stakeholders to enhance operations. Key CSIO initiatives launched under Ms. Sinclair’s stewardship include advancing API standardization, developing the industry’s first API Security Standards, and driving Standards alignment, including the refinement of CSIO’s eDocs.

With over 20 years of experience in P&C insurance, Ms. Sinclair has played a significant role in steering industry initiatives across all facets of operations. Before CSIO, she served as Vice President of Operations and then Chief Operating Officer of aha insurance, where she led the development and launch of the first online property and automobile brokerage in Canada. Ms. Sinclair also held leadership roles at Intact Financial Corporation and Ontario Teachers Insurance Plan (OTIP).
